Why book with Ri Ri?

She was a tourist here once, too.

Ri Ri looking out over terraced valleys in northern Vietnam, carrying a woven basket

Ri Ri first came to Hà Giang as a backpacker and never really left. She has now lived in Vietnam for over two years, most of it on the loop, and she plans every ride around the things she wishes someone had shown her on her first trip.

The spots worth stopping for

Two years on these roads means she knows which viewpoints are worth the climb, where to be at sunrise, and which corners the big groups ride straight past.

Connections up and down the loop

Homestay families, easy-rider drivers and local guides she has ridden with for years. That is how her groups get the good rooms and the dinners worth staying up for.

She speaks the language

Semi-fluent Vietnamese, so ordering, haggling and chatting with the families you stay with is easy, not lost in translation.
